Throughout history and throughout the world, archetypes of Divine Feminine energies have existed and played an active role in our perception--Quan Yin, the Great Mother, the Great Goddess, the Blessed Mother. Now, at the dawning of the third millennium, at last we see the emergence of a deeper and broader understanding of this archetype of the Feminine. Her divine energies are being recognized as the undeniable, determining force she is in the social equation.
From the pioneering women’s consciousness movement in the United States to the increasingly visible struggle for civil and religious freedom throughout the world, women are altering the planetary social order by their unique Feminine consciousness. This is an archetype in which intuition is recognized for its strengths and where the female erotic is valued for its spiritual power and its place in daily life.
Change requires asking questions, exploring and releasing old patterns to make room for the new. This new archetype of the Divine Feminine  evolves out of these questions, such as: Who are we when we don’t act from envy, competition, low self-esteem, anger, and victim consciousness? Who are we in cooperation? Who are we when we have released that which holds us back? Who are we with our sexual/spiritual energy intact? Who are we with our artistic nature unleashed? Who are we when we live as our authentic selves?
By exploring the experience of our authentic self, we come to know life from the inside out. We release long-held shame and the guilt buried in our subconscious minds and in our bodies and heal from it. We gain the freedom to make different choices. We feel at one with our essential nature, pleased to be living in a body, on the Earth, while maintaining our connection to the Oneness.
When we live as our authentic self, our needs for love, pleasure, and erotic innocence are more easily fulfilled, and we can experience greater harmony in our lives. But how do we cross the divide between our socially defined and our authentic selves?
Through the centuries, women have helped each other heal the wounds they carry, whether from their own experiences or from inherited values. Midwives reached inside of their sisters to assist in bringing forth new life. But does new life come only in the form of a baby? Might new life come in the form of energy, ideas, creativity, and more pleasure, less fear?
The journey to discovering our full potential as women is a remembering of our sacred sexual/spiritual soul. Education is the first step on this journey--claiming our birthright as daughters of the goddess. Historically, one did this through a ritual of initiation. This opportunity has been lost in modern culture. Until now.
We created The Divine Feminine Mystery School to give healers, teachers and individuals wishing to explore their conscious evolution a living template for awakening this awareness in themselves, their partners and their clients. The sacred teachings of Tantra, Tao and Spiritual Psychology are woven together into a complete curriculum that provides powerful support for illuminated understanding.
The Divine Feminine (Eros) in sublime harmony with the Divine Masculine (Logos) offers us a joyful means to awaken the power inherent in our sexual nature. As this dynamic balance emerges, we feel more connected to the cycles of the earth, to our true emotions, and to the power and sacredness of our sexuality.

Caroline Muir, founder of Divine Feminine, joins with director of Divine Feminine, Joan Heartfield, Ph.D. in birthing a Modern Mystery School for Men and Women. After over 15 years of co-facilitating Tantra For Women seminars, these two exceptional friends offer women-only retreats, complete with a rich and rewarding initiation ceremony and an opportunity for women overall to “Embody Your Ecstasy.” To learn more, visit www.divine-feminine.com
